Bangour Village Hospital

From Wikipedia:  Bangour Village Hospital was a psychiatric hospital located west of Dechmont in West Lothian, Scotland. It was officially opened in October 1906, although the first patients had been admitted in June 1904. The hospital closed in 2004.

Full now of dog walkers, it's an amazing gloomy walk. Expect more from here! Especially during winter.

Somewhere in Bratislava

As we walked lost in Bratislava, we came across these buildings. Both looking like Thunderbirds models.

Troon

Found recently: an old postcard of Troon. A town so gloomy even the postcard factory can't be bothered to make the postcard straight and in focus.

Flumes

Back of the closed swimming pool in Stirling, Scotland. A great place to spend a family day out squabbling and cold.

Blinds crushed by furniture

Top contender for "Edinburgh Most Beautiful Building" is this in Seafield Road. Nice use of blinds crushed by furniture. Hopefully they'll be holding the Edinburgh Tattoo here in years to come.

Forton

Perhaps the greatest building in the United Kingdom. Forton Motorway Services on the M6 in the north of England.

Why not stop if you're passing and enjoy a Scotch Egg Bar while staring glibly at the concrete.
